Favorite places to eat in Tainan

After coming to Tainan for so many years, and being taken care of by great friends and locals I would like to share some of my favorite places to eat.

Bubble Tea Places

Bubble tea is a tea-based drink originating in Taichung, Taiwan in the early 1980s that includes chewy tapioca balls or a wide range of other toppings. Ice-blended versions are frozen and put into a blender, resulting in a slushy consistency. There are many varieties of the drink with a wide range of flavors.

Alternative Names: Boba; Pearl milk tea; Boba milk tea; Boba tea; Boba nai cha; Tapioca tea.

This one was highly recommended to me by a friend and native of Tainan. I had the brown sugar milk tea with pearl and it was to die for!

I stopped there for a couple of hour to do some work, have a matcha latte and a pistachio fluffy donut!

Amazing little find in a random area! This is also a perfect place to get some work done for a few hours while drinking a large variety of coffee from espresso to drip coffees and off course order food and desert!! The best tiramisu ever is at this coffee place!!
